Heirloom Wedding Painting Commission

Description

Send me your favorite engagement, wedding or couple photo and I will create a hand-painted watercolor piece that will become a family heirloom. It will be painted on 9x12" 300G watercolor paper and I will email you once your painting is shipped out.

Timeframe

Please allow three weeks for custom commissions to be completed plus time for shipping from NY. While shipping times during Covid are outside of my control, I can email you a web-sized preview of the finished illustration for you to show your giftee before the physical illustration arrives in the mail. You may request the "web-sized preview" in the Notes section. 

Rush Order

If you'd like to make a rush order, please email me at helen@oceantakeflight.coms to see if I can accommodate your request before ordering. Rush fees may apply depending on how soon you would like it completed. 

What photo(s) should I upload?

A clear photo in you and your partner in a pose and outfit you like. You could also send a separate photo of your wedding dress and I can composite the two photos together in your painting! This comes in handy if you'd like this commission done prior to your wedding to showcase at the Welcome Table on the day of your wedding.

You may choose to upload either a half-body or full-body photo reference. Just know that half-body illustrations would allow for some more room for facial details than a full-body illustration would. If you are unsure which photo to select, you can upload multiple photos and I will choose which photo would best translate into my fashion illustration style. 

Please note:

• These commissions are for personal use only. For commercial commissions, please email the request to helen@oceantakeflight.com 
• All commissions will be drawn in my personal style and exact, photo-realistic likeness is not the goal of these paintings.
• Also, because this is painted in traditional media, there is unfortunately, no undo button for watercolor paint and so, no changes will be allowed once the painting is done.
